Education Matters
The USAP Community School is a program of Education Matters, and our US 501c3 Education Matters Africa Foundation. Education Matters also directs several other programs that are affiliated with the school.

Rise is the anchor program of a $1 billion commitment by Eric and Wendy Schmidt, designed to increase opportunity for exceptional young people who need it to do more for others, together, throughout their lives. Education Matters is the Zimbabwe partner for Rise.

Yale Young African Scholars (YYAS)
The Yale Young African Scholars (YYAS) Program is an intensive academic and enrichment program designed for African secondary school students who plan to pursue tertiary education and wish to make meaningful impact as young leaders on the continent. Education Matters is the local YYAS partner for Southern Africa.

Zimbabwe Career Connect (ZCC)
The Zimbabwe Career Connect (ZCC) Internship Program is an experiential service learning program that matches Zimbabwean students studying in the U.S., Canada and with Ashesi University in Ghana, with Zimbabwean companies and non-governmental organizations during the student’s vacation period from university. It is a program of Education Matters.
